Project Rachel, a compassionate and confidential ministry, extends God’s unconditional love and forgiveness to women and men who experience the tragedy of abortion.  By offering a safe place for those suffering to be reconciled with God and his Church, Project Rachel helps those suffering after abortion experience mercy, forgiveness, and peace.

Project Rachel Offers: 

Retreats and Support Groups – Take time away from your everyday life to seek peace and healing at confidential retreats and groups led by a Project Rachel team.

  • Rachel’s Vineyard Weekend Retreats for women and men who have suffered the tragedy of abortion
  • Project Joseph Weekend Retreats for men who have suffered the tragedy of abortion
  • Project Rachel also offers monthly support groups.

Referrals to Priests—Receive guidance and the Sacrament of Reconciliation in a loving and confidential setting.

Licensed Professional Counselors—Receive a referral to someone who is sensitive to the needs of those hurting from a past abortion.

Support After Abortion at Portico

Portico offers FREE after abortion healing services in Murfreesboro, TN and surrounding areas. We currently utilize the nationally-recognized, bible-based curriculum, Surrendering The Secret for women and Surrendering the Heart of the Father for men. These 6 – 10 week programs are conducted four times each year in small group, peer counseling formats led by trained, experienced facilitators. Classes are free except for cost of  books ($5-15). Pre-registration is required.  One-on-one counseling is available by appointment.
