Background Check
All volunteers must submit to a local/county and national/federal background check. The background check searches the following: Criminal record search in the applicant’s current county and Federal District, National Sex Offender Registry, Criminal Record search in all Counties for the past seven years, and Criminal Record search in all Federal Districts for the past seven years. This background search does not run credit, nor does it affect credit. A criminal background does not automatically disqualify you from serving, so please let us know if you feel a check will reveal any background information that you would like to Discuss.
Click below to process a donation for $35 for our Background Check fee. Once you have processed the fee, you will receive an email from Clear Investigative Advantage within 5 days. Once the email is received, please open and complete the proper steps.

Grieving Well Course
To better assist our clients and patients and to protect against vicarious trauma, it is helpful to gain a deeper understanding of our own grief history. This course offers self-guided reflections and exercises that will broaden our appreciation of the uniqueness of our own and other’s grief journeys. Obstacles to grieving, grieving styles, practical ways to memorialize loss, and the ability to grow through loss are also covered as we explore how to grieve well.
