Support After Abortion

Post-Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS)

The residual after-effects of abortion can cause an ongoing struggle with symptoms like stress, grief, depression and more. This is often referred to as Post-Abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS) and is similar to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). If these feelings are not addressed and processed through, they can go on for months or even years after your abortion experience. One of the best ways to find healing and peace is to process your abortion experience in a safe space. Being able to open up with other women who know exactly what you’re going through and can offer their insight and support is an invaluable part of the healing process.

Many times people think of the physical effects an abortion can have, but may not consider the emotional aspect.
