By Your Side LA is a ministry of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Office of Life, Justice & Peace. It is meant to connect women and men in need of healing following abortion with resources in the community to help them heal.

By Your Side LA offers a website, a call center, trained lay Merciful Companions to walk with those in need as they heal, and referrals to mental health professionals, retreats, support groups, spiritual healing, and other resources.

The By Your Side LA website offers information for women, men, and family members who have been affected by abortion. Merciful Companions are trained to be able to speak with anyone needing healing, drawing from their own experience with loss and the training and support they receive from a mental health professional supervisor.

The goal of By Your Side LA is to bring women and men hurting from past abortion experience to a place of peace and wholeness through conversation, reconciliation, and community.
