Abortion Healing Ministry of Archdiocese of St. Louis

The Abortion Healing Ministry (AHM) of the Archdiocese of St. Louis follows the Project Rachel Ministry model of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The AHM is a network of specially[1]trained caregivers who offer an integrated approach to healing, combining both spiritual and psychological resources. This healing network — including clergy, lay staff, mental health professionals, consecrated religious and spiritual directors — works as a team to provide direct care to women, men, couples and families touched by abortion loss. This provides them with a safe, compassionate, and confidential space in which to grieve and heal, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and be united with the Church through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
