The mission of Support After Abortion is to build and strengthen abortion healing worldwide. One of the most significant ways we can provide healing is by bringing together 60 abortion healing leaders, authors, and program directors to the first-ever, Healing Network Virtual Conference. During this week’s Healing Network Facebook Live, we interview two of our conference speakers, Georgette Forney and Lauren Muzyka.
Georgette Forney is the President of Anglicans for Life and Co-Founder of Silence No More. Anglicans for Life is a religious organization whose purpose is to equip the church to do various outreach initiatives, including advocating for life and healing for those impacted by abortion.
A unique, preventive initiative they have is Abundant Life: You Were Made for More, a web-based program with a curriculum that engages and educates young adults in the areas of establishing healthy relationships, dating, decision-making, identity, and abstinence, to name a few.
Georgette is also the Co-Founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, an international campaign encouraging those impacted by abortion to share their experience and find power in their testimony. The goal is to educate the public on the effects of abortion – physically, emotionally, and spiritually for both men and women.[ultimate_video u_video_url=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uu4_XbI738″ yt_autoplay=”” yt_sugg_video=”” yt_mute_control=”” yt_modest_branding=”” yt_privacy_mode=”” thumbnail=”custom” custom_thumb=”id^19680|url^https://supportafterabortion.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Creative-methods-for-providing-healing-to-people-impacted-by-abortion-EP12.png|caption^null|alt^null|title^Creative methods for providing healing to people impacted by abortion EP12|description^null” play_size=”75″ enable_sub_bar=””]Another one of our Virtual Conference speakers is Lauren Muzyka, Executive Director of Sidewalk Advocates for Life. The organization’s mission is to train and equip people in communities worldwide to be a “sidewalk advocate” – offering love, life-preserving alternatives to women entering or leaving abortion centers with the ultimate purpose of ending abortion. If the women decide to have an abortion, sidewalk advocates are there to demonstrate God’s mercy with ongoing support, healing literature, and programs.
Since the start of Sidewalk Advocates for Life in 2006, they have remarkably saved almost 10,000 preborn children, helped 70 abortion workers leave the industry, and closed 20 abortion facilities.
Before Sidewalk Advocates for Life, Lauren was the Campaign Strategist for 40 Days for Life. This organization takes a spiritual approach to end abortion through prayer. In biblical history, God used 40 days to bring about transformation in his people. 40 Days for Life uses the same practice by praying outside of abortion centers, fasting, and doing community outreach for 40 days. They’ve witnessed great results with this method and continue to grow worldwide.
Georgette Forney and Lauren Muzyka will both be presenting at our first-ever FREE Healing Network Virtual Conference. Georgette will be offering two sessions: The Value of Your Testimony and Can We Abort Grandma. Lauren’s presentation is Sidewalk Advocacy and After-Abortion Outreach: How to Offer Hope & Healing at Abortion Facilities. You do not want to miss their presentations and so many more.
