I am from Washington DC and travel as a MFM sonographer. Over the years, I used my medical skills and my story to connect with women and men in crisis pregnancy centers in Florida and Texas. As a staff member I was required to attend post abortion recovery. I began to learn about after abortion care and trained to become an advocate for those in immediate need. I first learned about post abortion recovery when I was required to attend recovery. I enjoy line dancing and traveling. I am a devoted mom. I am divorced. I am a survivor of abortion and childhood violence. I am an advocate of therapy and I am soaring. I spent time volunteering as a lay counselor at One Community Church, mental health facilitator for NAMI.org, and host groups virtually and in person creating a safe gathering for my community. Volunteering and facilitating allows me the opportunity to continue to learn and provide support to others as I share my authentic journey of hope and redemption. Surviveandsoar.org was created during a personal hardship. Its a step by step framework that guides users through personal life milestones.
