Director of Programming
Originally from Michigan, Karin spent the first 13 years of her career, working in the science fields of nuclear engineering and chemistry. For the next 8 years Karin went down a very dark road of alcoholism, drug addiction, and eventually homelessness. That began to change when Karin accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Because of her newfound faith, and the struggles she has overcome, Karin’s priorities and career interests changed, prompting her to go back to college for social work. In her current role as the Director of Programming, for Support After Abortion, Karin has developed a system that connects men and women who have been impacted by an abortion experience to people and programs that help them sort through their emotions, move through the grief and loss process, and find closure.
